BioHorizon invites researchers, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders to submit flash presentations for a chance to present your project idea in one of the three parallel flash presentation sessions that will take place on the morning of the event. The focus of these 5-minute presentations should be on how you intend to address one of the topics contained in the 2020 work programme for ‘Food Security, Sustainable Agriculture and Forestry, Marine, Maritime and Inland Water Research and the Bioeconomy’ (SC2) or for the Key Enabling Technology ‘Biotechnology’ (KET-Biotech), and the kinds of partners you are looking to cooperate with. The deadline for submissions is 14 June 2019. Presentations must be submitted to this address. The successful applicants will be informed approximately seven days before the event. Applicants will be asked to indicate a preferred session for their presentation but the organisers reserve the right to choose a different session for organisational reasons, if required.
The flash presentation sessions will take place between 11:00-12:00 on 3 July 2019. All three sessions will be webstreamed and recorded. The slides of all flash presentations, even those not chosen due to a lack of available places, will be made available to download here in the days after the event. The list of speakers and the links to the webstreams will be published here in the week before the event.
